About FateDate

We measure success differently

Not by time spent in an app — but by the moment two people meet, feel genuine chemistry, and choose each other. FateDate was built for that moment.

Our story

Built with purpose

FateDate began in 2019 with a simple but serious observation — online dating had made it dangerously easy to meet strangers, with no structure, no verification, and no accountability.

People were sharing too much too soon. Intent wasn’t always aligned. And meeting someone for the first time felt like a leap of faith with no safety net.

We believed that had to change. Meeting someone shouldn’t be left to chance or trust alone. It should be structured, verified, and designed around real-world safety from the very first interaction. That belief is what FateDate was built on.

“Version 1 already felt different to anything else out there. Can’t wait to see where version 2 goes.” — Thomas, early member

Our Mission

To set a new standard for how people meet

Every feature is designed to move people from online connection to real-world meeting — with clarity, safety, and structure at every step.

Safety first

Every member is verified against a government ID before connecting. Because knowing you’re talking to a real person matters.

Designed for real connection

Every feature reduces friction between online connection and in-person meeting — because real chemistry only happens in real life.

Real people, real places

We only work with handpicked venues that care about the experience as much as we do. Restaurants, bars, and experiences chosen specifically for first dates.

Privacy, always

Before connecting, choose to show your real name or stay private behind your FateDate ID. Once connected, full profiles and real names are visible to each other.

Intentional dating

FateDate is built for people who want something real. Every part of the experience is designed to lead somewhere meaningful.

Built to last

A FateDate match isn’t based on a swipe. It’s based on real chemistry after a real date. That’s a connection worth something.
