Safety First

Verified members

Every member is ID-verified through Veriff before interacting with others. Members may also upload a recent timestamped photo to their profile — helping others make more informed decisions and preventing outdated images.

Earned trust

Trust Levels reflect a member’s history on FateDate. Starting at Level 1 after verification, levels grow through positive dating activity and consistent responsible behaviour over time.

Protected profiles

Before connecting, others can only see your public profile. Once connected, your full profile unlocks — built and customised by you, showing only what you choose to share.

 

Your safety by design

FateDate gives you the tools to make more informed decisions at every stage. Use FateDate ID to stay private before connecting and plan all dates through DateDiary. We recommend always making your own way to the venue and never sharing personal details with someone you haven’t met in person. The tools are there — but your instincts are your best guide.

Every card belongs to a real member. Browse prompts, traits and interests from people on FateDate — and when something catches your attention, pull the thread to reveal who’s behind it. Connect if it feels right. Discovery driven by genuine interest, not just appearance.

Out & About Mode

Out & About helps you discover people you may have crossed paths with in real life. No live tracking, no maps — encounters refresh once a day at midnight. Designed for missed moments that feel like fate.

HiddenFate

Two members with relevant interest alignment are connected anonymously for private chat. You have 48 hours to plan a date through DateDiary or the chat expires. Set your parameters or use your dating pool — we handle the rest.

BlindFate

FateDate selects both members and venue. No planning, no chat — just arrive at the arranged time and meet. Set your parameters or use your dating pool — we handle everything. After the date, both members have 48 hours to match, connect as friends, or the connection disappears.

For those who’d rather date first and connect after. Our Blind Date features pair you with someone based on your preferences and interests—just show up and see what happens. Want more control? Build a dating pool by swiping on members you’d date and we’ll pair you from there. After the date, both members have 48 hours to decide what happens next.
